  2. Add green chile sauce. Bring to a simmer on low.

  • 8 oz. fat free reduced sodium vegetable broth or stock
  • 1- 10 oz. pkg. shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup green beans (about 20) 1 inch cut
  • 1- 13 oz. container BUENO®Green Chile thawed, with juice
  • 4 oz. tomato sauce (no salt added)
  • ½ tsp. BUENO® Whole Oregano
  • ¼ tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 medium zucchini (about 1 ½ cups) ½ inch cut
  • ¼ cup frozen corn kernels

  1. Spray a 4 quart saucepan with cooking spray.
  2. Over medium high heat, sauté onion, garlic, turnip, and carrots about 6 minutes or until turnip and carrots have softened a little. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
  3. Add chicken broth and vegetable broth, cabbage, green beans, green chile, tomato sauce, oregano and salt. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat. Add zucchini and corn. Cover saucepan and simmer 30 minutes.

  • ½ cup+ 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 doz. BUENO® Corn Tortillas
  • 4 chicken breasts skinless boneless, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp. BUENO® Coarse Chile
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. granulated garlic
  • 1 large tomato chopped
  • ¼ cup onion finely diced
  • ½ cup dark green lettuce cut into tiny pieces
  • 1 jar BUENO® Tomatillo Salsa,

Instructions
  1. Heat ½ cup olive oil over medium-high heat in a heavy skillet. Gently fold each corn tortilla, leaving a slight opening at the tip and securing it with a toothpick. Deep fry each shell for about 30 seconds each side or until crisp. Drain on paper towel.
  2. Heat 1 tsp. olive oil over medium heat in non-stick skillet.
  3. Add chicken, coarse chile, salt and garlic. Cook over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Allow to cool.
  4. Shred chicken.
  5. Evenly divide chicken, tomato, onion and lettuce among taco shells.
  6. Add salsa to taste.
Recipe Notes

Option: To cut fat and calories, instead of frying tortillas, use them fresh or toast in the oven.

  1. Add 1-2 inches of oil to 12 inch skillet and pre-heat to 375F.
  2. Stack tortillas and cut into eighths.
  3. Add 10-15 pieces of tortilla, one at a time, to hot oil.
  4. Fry tortillas for 1-2 minutes, lightly stirring chips until bubbling slows down. Remove chips and drain on paper towel. Fry remaining in same fashion.
  5. In small saucepan combine green chile, cheese and heat for 5-7 minutes stirring mixture until mixture is hot and pourable.
  6. Fill shallow bowl with tortilla chips, and top with chile-cheese sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped tomatoes, black beans and onion.
  8. Garnish with sour cream and olives (optional).

  • 2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 large apple grated
  • 1 ½ cups pecans chopped

  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • Peanut oil
  • Confectioner's sugar

  1. Cook green chile according to instructions on container.
  2. Place cooked green chile in refrigerator while preparing the batter mixture.
  3. Combine the next 7 ingredients together.
  4. Add green chile and mix well.
  5. Fold in beaten egg and buttermilk until mixture is well blended.
  6. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Drop a tablespoon full of batter in pre-heated oil at 370°F and fry until golden brown.
  8. Cook a few at a time ensuring each cake reaches a temperature of 165°F.
  9. Sprinkle with sifted confectioner’s sugar.

  1. Place frozen green chile in a saucepan over low heat. Cook 15-20 minutes covered.
  2. Heat oil over low heat in a sauté pan. Sauté onion.
  3. Add cooked green chile. Cook an additional 10 minutes over medium heat or until excess moisture evaporates. Remove from heat.
  4. Split eggs in half. Remove eggs from shells. Place whites on a serving plate. Scoop out yolks into a bowl.
  5. Mash yolks with a fork.
  6. Stir in cooked onion and green chile mixture, celery, mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls of mixture into each halved egg white.

  4. Prepare cabbage by mixing with cider vinegar and set aside.
  5. Place tortillas in a single layer on a cookie sheet and place in oven to warm for 2 minutes; flip once.

  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil

  1. Place frozen green chile in a saucepan over low heat. Cook 15-20 minutes covered.
  2. Heat 1 tsp. oil over low heat in a sauté pan. Sauté onion.
  3. Add cooked green chile. Cook an additional 10 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat.
  4. In a separate bowl, mash salmon with a fork.
  5. Stir in cooked onion and green chile mixture. Add remaining ingredients except for oil.
  6. Heat ¼ cup oil over medium heat in a non-stick skillet.
  7. Drop mixture by heaping tablespoon onto heated skillet. Flatten with spatula. Cook over medium heat until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes. Turn and cook approximately 2 more minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.

  • 4 lettuce leaves

  1. Coat large griddle evenly with 2 Tbsp. oil. Heat to medium high.
  2. Salt hamburger patties to taste.
  3. Cook hamburger patties for 7 to 8 minutes per side or to desired temperature.
  4. Coat additional griddle with 2 Tbsp. oil. Sauté onions over medium high heat until golden brown.
  5. Add green chile directly onto a separate part of the griddle and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until it reaches 165'.
  6. Place tops and bottoms of buns on griddle and toast for 1 to 2 minutes.
  7. Top each toasted bottom bun with hamburger patty, cheese slice, sautéed onions and cooked green chile.

  6. Add sliced cheese and heated green chile.
  7. On low temperature side of grill, warm tortillas 10 to 15 seconds, turning over until lightly toasted.
