Hatch Green Chile Pepperoni Pizza
There is nothing like the combination of Hatch Green Chile to enhance a pepperoni pizza.
Ingredients
- 2 Pre-baked 9-10 inch pizza rounds
- 1 cup Red Chile Marinara Sauce see Red Chile Marinara recipe
- 1-4 oz. pkg. pepperoni slices
- 3 cups low moisture mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1-13 oz container BUENO® Hatch Autumn Roast® Green Chile thawed
- 2 tsp. BUENO® Oregano crushed
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
- Remove both pizza rounds and place each on a pizza stone or round baking pan.2 Pre-baked 9-10 inch pizza rounds
- Spoon red chile marinara sauce onto each pizza round and spread evenly, covering entire surface.1 cup Red Chile Marinara Sauce
- Place pepperoni evenly over each pizza.1-4 oz. pkg. pepperoni slices
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over each pizza.3 cups low moisture mozzarella cheese
- Place green chile in microwave safe bowl. Loosely cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 1 minute. Drain. Spread green chile evenly over each pizza.1-13 oz container BUENO® Hatch Autumn Roast® Green Chile
- Sprinkle each pizza with oregano, if desired.2 tsp. BUENO® Oregano
- Place both pizzas in middle rack and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly toasted.
