Hatch Chile Chicken Wings
These Hatch Chile Chicken Wings are perfect for Game Days. The combination of our famous Autumn Roast® Chile, honey, and soy sauce makes for a delicious and light glaze.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken wings, cooked
- 1 – 13 oz. container BUENO® Hatch Autumn Roast® Green Chile
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. minced ginger
- 2 Tbsp. Peanut oil
- ½ tsp BUENO® Crushed Red Pepper flakes
- salt to taste
- ¼ cup green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Combine green chile, honey, sugar, soy sauce and garlic powder in a saucepan.1 – 13 oz. container BUENO® Hatch Autumn Roast® Green Chile, ¼ cup honey, ¼ cup sugar, 3 Tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Cook on medium heat for 10 -15 minutes to caramelize sugars and thicken.
- Add rice vinegar, ginger, peanut oil, red pepper flakes and salt (optional) . Heat additional 1-2 minutes.3 Tbsp. rice vinegar, 1 tsp. minced ginger, 2 Tbsp. Peanut oil, ½ tsp BUENO® Crushed Red Pepper flakes, salt
- Combine wing pieces with the glaze in saucepan and toss to cover and coat wing pieces evenly.8 chicken wings,
