Job Description & Responsibilities:  We are looking for a Route Relief Driver who is responsible for direct delivery and merchandising of accounts and customer service support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing proper rotation and facing of stock and ensuring fresh stock on store shelves.
• Responsible for Merchandising duties.
• Resolves customer order problems.
• Follows route delivery schedules.
• As required, makes customer deliveries.
• Works on special projects.
• Responds to customer service and departmental requests for information.
• Responsible for inventory accountability as determined by department manager.

Requirements:

• Valid/current driver's license and a good driving record with no DWI's.
• Must submit to and be in compliance with any tests/regulations as required by DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Drive a bobtail delivery truck, step van, with automatic or manual transmission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes sales calls.
• Plans, directs and executes sales and marketing goals and objectives.

• Investigates new markets and prepares introductory plan.
• Recommends and implements distribution methods.

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of face to face sales experience, or alternatively five years experience in the food industry as a buyer.
• Proven results in attaining sales increases.
• Experience in developing and making professional presentations successfully.
• Experience in developing and implementing promotions.
• Experience in the food service and retail industry preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Job Description & Responsibilities:  We are looking to hire a Product Developer who is involved in developing new products, product improvements, and line extensions from conception through commercialization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implements food product formulations operationally.
• Transfers formulation prototypes from benchtop through the scale-up and into production.
• Team participant in projects with other departments.
• Team participant in product improvement projects.
• Complies with USDA/FDA regulations.
• Establishes formulation procedures and specifications for finished products.
• Develops heating and handling instructions for finished product.
• Assists in establishing manufacturing procedures, packaging specifications, ingredient specifications and finished product specifications.
• Using protocols, drafts raw ingredient specifications for review by TS and Food Safety Team.
• Assists in establishing shelf study protocols and performs shelf studies as directed by TS Team.
• Assists in developing nutritional evaluations using nutritional database software.
• Interfaces with vendors and suppliers on product development projects.
• Using protocols, evaluates competitor products, for review by TS Team.
• Conducts directed research to understand and control the parameters which are important to product quality.
• Integrates published ideas in research activities which impact the manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for safekeeping product formulas and recipes during the product development stage.
• Provides technical assistance on customer complaint issues as needed and reports to TS Team and QA Manager on specific complaint responses as they apply to the product.
• Provides technical assistance on processing and develops guidance documents as needed for manufacturing personnel.
• Provides technical assistance on food safety projects, including HACCP and Food Safety Plans.
• Works on costing verification in conjunction with other departments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a food technology, food science or food engineering environment preferred.
• Experience with prototype development, from benchtop through pilot plant and into production.
• Experience developing product specifications and manufacturing procedures.
• Experience with nutritional evaluations.
• Experience with sensory panels.
• Experience with product microwavability.
• Experience with or knowledge of Mexican food industry.
• Experience with USDA/FDA regulations.
• Experience with process documentation and record keeping.
• Experience with food manufacturing, packaging and product safety standards.
• Ability to organize and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong computer and software skills in order to input & retrieve data and to prepare detailed reports.

Education:

• BS or MS degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Technology or related area preferred.
