Basic Red Chile Sauce with Roux (From Red Chile Powder)

- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 4 Tbsp. BUENO® Chile Powder
- 2 ½ cups water
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
Heat vegetable oil over medium heat.

Stir in flour until flour turns golden. Add red chile powder.
4 Tbsp. BUENO® Chile Powder, 3 Tbsp. flour
Slowly add water and stir until there are no longer lumps.

Add garlic and salt.

Simmer uncovered 10 to 15 min. over low-medium heat.
