Tomatillo Chicken Wings
Bright and tangy, this traditional tomatillo sauce is a favorite in Mexico to add brightness and flavor to fish tacos, fish dishes, veggies and eggs. The added jalapeño peppers give it a kick and will fill your taste buds with happy notes!

Chicken Preparation Season wings with salt and pepper.
2 tsp. sea salt, 2 tsp. black pepper, 16 wings chicken wings
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat to 350°F.

Gently lower wings into hot oil. Fry for 12 minutes or until golden brown, turning wings halfway through.
Drain chicken wings on paper towels. Reserve in a warm oven.
Tomatillo Sauce Preparation To a large saucepan, add sugar, garlic powder and salt and cook over medium-low heat. Stir frequently to avoid burning the sugar.

Add salsa.
1 16 oz. jar BUENO® Tomatillo Salsa
Cook uncovered for 4 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
Stir in lime juice.

Wing Assembly Place warm chicken wings in large heat-safe bowl.
Toss with tomatillo sauce until thoroughly coated. Garnish with jalapeño rounds and chopped cilantro.
