- Gold Awards from the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority for our water conservation
- Gene Baca was one of four individuals honored nationally with the 2010 Hero Award by Immigration Works. The Award recognizes business and coalition leaders across the U.S. who demonstrate excellence in educating the public about the benefits of immigration and building a mainstream grassroots constituency in favor of better law. - Gene Baca was honored with the Zia Award by the University of New Mexico Alumni Association for philanthropic endeavors, service to the University, the community and distinguishing himself in the business field (2009)
